Enjoy a delightful program that will include the Dvorak Sonatina, which uses some American themes derived from the composer's visit to Spillville, Iowa, on his visit to America 120 years ago. Also included are American Classic works from Stephen Foster to Ashoken Farewell to the Tango de Inverno by Vermont's own composer, Michael Close. Violinist John Lindsey is the Concertmaster of Eleva, and the pianist is Michael Sitton, a Vermont resident and former Dean of the Crane School of Music, where Distinguished Service Professor Emeritus John Lindsey taught for 35 years.
