Sydney Canlas, violin
Sydney Canlas, originally from Ann Arbor Michigan, began playing violin when she was five years old. She debuted with the Toledo Symphony at age seventeen as the top prize winner of their concerto competition. Past teachers include Stephen Shipps, Paul Sonner at the Interlochen Arts Academy, and Joseph Maile at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music in their Bachelor of Music program. Sydney is also a producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist whose music has been published by Warner Records. Sydney is now based in Los Angeles.
