Rachel Crozier

Eleva...elevating the human spirit through music.

Violin

Rachel Crozier began playing the violin at the age of 8, after begging to play the cello for two years. She quickly fell in love with the violin. Rachel is a member of the violin section of the Hudson Valley Philharmonic. She is concertmaster of the Northern Dutchess Symphony Orchestra and The Hudson Opera Theatre. Rachel performs regularly with The Orchestra Now (TON) and freelances throughout the tri-state area. In the summers, she has participated in New Hampshire Music Festival and Bard Music Festival. Over her career as an orchestral musician, Rachel has worked with conductors Leonard Slatkin, Hans Graf, Jahja Ling, and Sir Colin Davis. Rachel resides in Stone Ridge, NY. When not playing or teaching the violin, she can be found in her vegetable garden or hiking with her family.
